The Yuba College Nursing Department strongly recommends students complete a 4 credit Pathophysiology course in order to meet content and credit equivalency. Strong grades in 4 credit courses also improve individual course GPA, resulting in higher point values being awarded in Criterion 2 of our new Merit Based Admission Process. However, the following 3 credit courses have also been approved by the Yuba College Nursing Department to satisfy this pre-admission requirement.

If you are still interested in taking a course which is not included on these lists, you may request a student petition and apply for equivalency prior to enrollment. Please call 530/741-6705 to request the petition. You must include the name of the school, the course ID, a copy of the course description, and an official, sealed transcript with your petition. You will be notified directly if your petition is granted or denied.
